Application of Galileo in Rehabilitation & Physiotherapy
Galileo training results in more muscle strength and flexibility and better muscle balance and coordination. Moreover, Galileo training is easy and quick without the risks seen in physical training.
This makes Galileo stimulation an ideal addition to conmventional therapies in rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Because of the high number of impuls repeats in a short time, Galileo increases the results and efficiency of the therapy. A short 2 to 3 minute session twice a week already gives measurable results.
More than 100 publications from at least 50 universities and other research centres have shown the effectivity and safety of Galileo training in a broad patient population (see also the research pages). Therefore, the Galileo system has a TUV Medical Certificate for 16 indication areas:
l Overall weakness and training deprivation
l All forms of muscular insufficiency in arms, shoulders, neck and chest
l Hypertension in back muscles
l Unspecific back pain
l Strength and power loss resulting from immobilisation
l Strength and power loss resulting from injuries and post surgical deactivation
l Balance disturbance
l Falling syndrome and age-related multifunctional disruptions of walking and/or moving
pattern
l Stress-incontinence
l Postnatal lower pelvic training
l Osteoporosis/osteopenia
l Training for increasing muscle power
l Training for improvement of van inter- en intramuscular coordination
l Post surgical rehabilitation
l Rehabilitation of neurological and motor deficiencies
l Bad blood circulation in legs and feet
According to scientifical studies, the specific setting possibilities of the Galileo system offer the safest and most effective form of vibration training.
